This URL shortener, hereinafter referred to as "project" and "we", is a purely private initiative that does not aim to generate any profit whatsoever.
This privacy policy clarifies the nature, scope, and purpose of processing personal data in connection with this URL shortener. It also addresses the technical nature of data collection and the interests of this project.
The project is ad-free, cookie-free (anonymous, except when logged in, only a login cookie), and non-profit oriented.

Privacy Policy Specific to URL Shortener

The following data is collected and processed:

IP Address: Each time a shortened link is accessed, the IP address of the visitor is logged and stored in a text file. This is intentional to compile statistics on the usage of shortened links. The primary focus is on distinguishing whether a link is accessed 100 times by one person or 100 times in general.
Currently, only the admin has access to this information, making it inaccessible to the general public.
Planned is a user-specific login area allowing users to view personalized link statistics.

URLs: The URLs shortened by this project are also logged. They can be statistically analyzed in conjunction with IP addresses.

In all cases of such logging, there is no interest in personal data or individual statistics; it solely serves the purpose of the project. Furthermore, this data is not personally identifiable and does not allow conclusions to be drawn about individual users.

Email / Contact

When contacting us in any form, an email is ultimately sent from our server to the administrator. Here, we store technical details necessary for processing and sending. Beyond this purpose, no additional data is stored.

Cookies

Essential cookies such as login data or username are stored to ensure the functionality of this URL shortener project. These cannot be revoked. In the case of non-consent, we simply advise not registering or logging in and using the service anonymously. This way, no cookies will be stored.

Technical Nature

The web server automatically stores information in server log files of a technical nature.
Typically, these include:
Browser type and version, operating system used, referring URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of server request, IP address.

There is no intention to merge or evaluate this data for further analysis.

External Data

External data such as Google Fonts or Google Analytics are not used and are not the goal of this project. All fonts and functions have been integrated internally.
